Our Pro Celeb Charity Football Match was held at Woodbridge Town Football Club on Sunday the 8th of October.  Team Jude included ex pros Kieron Dyer, Titus Bramble, Ruel Fox & Tesfaye Bramble.  Phil Ham from TWTD joined Team Jude along with actor Adam Oakley and Singer/Songwriter Jack Rose.   Members of the public paid to play alongside them and take on Celeb FC.

Celeb FC are a London based non profit organisation who very kindly play at charity events on a voluntary basis, and were set up and run by lovely #teammum Karin. They had a star studded squad including DJ Pied Piper, Marlon Wallen (Big Brother), Derry Mensah (X Factor), Michael Kurn (Fanzone presenter) & Andi Walker (Masterchef) to name but a few.

Although a friendly charity match all the players from both teams wanted to win.  Celeb FC beat us this year so it was game on!  The game started very strongly for Team Jude, who were leading by 2 goals to 0 at half time! However after a regrouping at half time and grilling by their manager, MC Kie,  they came out fighting and stole the game with a 4 – 2 win! The Jude Brady Charity Shield was therefore awarded again to Celeb FC. We would like to thank them and all our players for taking part in this event!  A lot of players travel a long way to take part so we are really grateful to them for this.

We would like to thank Wayne Bavin from BBC Radio Suffolk who provided full match commentary.  We would also like to thank Woodbridge Town FC for being fabulous hosts of our match and our Referee Officials, Stephen Henderson-Holmes, Joe Fisher-Stephenson and Chris Dale who all provided their services free of charge.  Big thank you also to Sportsmedeast who provided the physio to our players on the day .  Tanya Alexanda Photography took some amazing photos of the day and we would like to thank her for giving us these images to remember the day.  Please see this link for the full gallery: https://www.facebook.com/TanyaAlexandaSimpson/media_set?set=a.1648342718531325.1073741857.100000668394745&type=3
