Local Businesses & Talent help boost funds for the Jude Brady Foundation in hosting a Father’s Family Fun Day!
To continue raising awareness and funds for stillbirths and neonatal deaths, the Jude Brady Foundation held a Father’s Family Fun Day at Bears Boutique Bowling in Ipswich on Sunday 21 June.
The event started at 12 pm with Kristoff & Princess Anna (provided by the fabulous Dream Team & Co) characters from the famous Disney Classic “Frozen”, who were amazing in character greeting all guests and providing glitter tattoos for all the children that attended.
From 2pm – 3pm Barny Holmes from the band De’Vide, who got through to the Battles in The Voice in 2013, gave a fantastic live performance whilst Mr Bean from Mr Bean Entertainments kept all the children entertained with his amazing balloon modeling skills!
At 3 pm Just Jay Dance and his crew arrived to run a dance workshop for all the children that attended. They enjoyed a fun warm up, practiced a dance routine and then performed to their parents – it really was so lovely to see them taking part and enjoying themselves. Just Jay Dance (winners of Ipswich has got Talent) then gave a live performance and a taster of what people who attend their Poptastic show on the 29th of August can expect and closed the day at 4 pm.
Tickets were charged at £5 each and included free bowling and all entertainment including the glitter tattoos and balloon modeling. A small raffle was also held and everyone that attended helped the foundation raise £370.
It was great to have support from so many local businesses and talented people making this day possible. We would like to say a special thank you to Charles Manning from Bears Bowling, Jay from Just Day Dance, Barny Holmes, Mr Bean Entertainments and Cherish Hughes from The Dream Team & Co.
