Local Golfers & Ipswich Town Legends help raise funds for the Jude Brady Foundation by attending a Charity Golf Day!

To continue raising awareness and funds for stillbirths and neonatal deaths, the Jude Brady Foundation held a Charity Golf Day at Ipswich Golf Club, Purdis Heath on Monday 22 June.

Several teams of 4 took part in this fantastic golf day with players including Ipswich Town legends, Kieron Dyer (patron for the charity) and Simon Milton. Alan McKnight, former international footballer also attended the event. The event took a Stableford, best 2 from 4 with full handicap.

The Newtonians team (Cate Fraser, Rebecca Evans & Steve Wordley) were the first to tee off at 11 am and became the proud winners of the Jude Brady Memorial trophy scoring 90 points! The Pinheads (Kieron Dyer, Simon Milton, Mark Keinzley & John Pritchard) came a very close second, scoring 88 points and the Team Jude (Peter Brady, James Tyler, Alastair Mcnaught & Jordan Nelli) took third place, scoring 85 points – a very tight competition all in all.

This fantastic golfing event raised a total of £1085! The Jude Brady Foundation would like to thank everyone that took part and the golf club for hosting the event.
