To continue raising awareness and funds for stillbirths and neonatal deaths, the Jude Brady Foundation hosted a luxurious afternoon tea on Sunday 29th March. Situated in the newly refurbished Lakeside Suite at Seckford Hall, guests overlooked the picturesque landscape of the lawns and the lake. This beautiful Tudor period house was the idyllic setting for this delightful event.
Afternoon tea comprised of a selection of flavoursome teas, scones with cream and strawberry preserve, freshly baked cakes and sandwiches. As well as afternoon tea, guests had the opportunity to treat themselves to a gel or polish manicure provided by the fabulous girls at Nail Artistry at a reduced price and browse and make purchases from stands including Arbonne, Stella & Dot and craft stands. The Stall holders kindly ran their own fun quizzes to help raise funds and donated commission earned which totalled an amazing £247.50. There was also a raffle which raised £84. In total including ticket sales this event managed to raise £507.22.
We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that attended this event and to the stall holders who all helped to raise funds for the foundation – we plan to hold another afternoon tea event next year – keep your eye on our website for details!
